Hungaryʼs industrial output rose 7.6% year-on-year in October, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said in a first reading of monthly data. Growth in the year to date also accelerated to 5.4% in January-October, from 5.2% in January-September.

Szent István University (SZIE) and Continental Group-member ContiTech Fluid Automotive Hungária Kft. signed a cooperation agreement in Gödöllő.

SZIE rector Dr. János Tőzsér said that the company is contributing to the students’ theoretical and practical training and their successful employment in the future.

He added that the university is committed to supplying professionals and providing a high-quality training programme through the partnership, which includes an internship programme, a special education grant and the launch of specialised engineer trainings.
