HubIT's First International Workshop

HubIT's First International Workshop

The HubIT project, funded under the Horizon 2020 programme of the European Union, brings together ICT and Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH). It helps stakeholders to deliver inclusive ICT innovation by bringing social aspects into the technological innovations already from the proposal planning phase.

HubIT has developed a Framework Model that is represented as “The HubIT Metropolis”: where all the activities, tools and resources deployed in the project are made available at different locations of the metropolis. This will facilitate and encourage the constructive interactions between ICT and SSH stakeholders, leading to a responsible approach to Research and Innovation.

The HubIT First International Workshop will be held on 3rd December 2018, from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm, at Holiday-Inn Vienna City, in Vienna, Austria.

The International Workshop will include the following activities:

  • Present the HubIT project, the initial European Framework Model and the assistance it has to offer.
  • Presentation and Feedback session regarding the usability and information contained in the HubIT Metropolis.
  • Gather inputs for the concept of RRI and the European Framework Model of responsible ICT innovation.
  • Facilitate best practice sharing and discussion of the concept of RRI and its application in ICT.
